February 2012: There is going to be a dedication service on February 26, 2012. All are invited to attend this wonderful service. Please read the letter from Pastor Chad: Invitation to Dedication Service
January 2012: A wonderful month of blessing after blessing. Many services have been filled with the presence of God. God is working in the lives of people and visitors have been present in every service this month. Moving to the larger building has been a positive experience; people are dropping in to talk and to visit.
December 2011: A very busy month indeed!! We have closed on the church building on 1309 West Washington Street, Bluffton, IN 46714 and have officially moved into it as of December 11, 2011. A dedication service will be planned once we are established and ready. That time should be around February. Please keep this in prayer. We need to establish ourselves and keep the unity as we move into the new church and go through some changes. We have have some financial needs, needed repairs, supplies, and the school will need to be moved from basement of old church to new church during the Christmas break. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
November 2011: This month is Pray for the Persecuted Church month. Please remember to pray for the churches and Christians around the world that are being persecuted, burned, martyred, killed, and tortured for Jesus Christ daily. www.persecution.com
October 2011 - October was Pastor Appreciation month. Throughout the month, the families and people in the church donated items to the food/supplies pounding. Pastor Chad and his family received paper products, pantry foods, and on the last Sunday, a card full of green, a love offereing. The church love and appreciate Pastor Chad very much and they all let him know it through actions of gratitude and some tearful testimonies in the morning services.
September 2011 - God has blessed the pastor and the people. There have been good messages, the presence of God was felt. God's hand was with people who traveled on vacation. The school has been off to a great start. We continue to pray about the new building.
August 2011 - The church continues to pray about the new building situation. We have run into a few snags along the way, but we all believe that God is with us and that He knows what He is doing! We continue to be faithful and know that God will reveal His promises.
We also are praying for Wesleyan Heritage Academy; they begin August 30th. There will be a few new faces and we pray for all students as they begin a new academic year.
July 9, 2011 - Today was the first day to use the Prayer Station and it was wonderful! Pastor Chad and his wife, Melissa set it up on the River Greenway where there is much walking traffic and souls were spoken to and touched by this ministry. We praise the Lord for being with Pastor Chad and his wife! The Prayer Station will be set up and used again the following Saturday, as weather permits. Please pray for an effective ministry!
July 2011 - The church is pursuing the purchase of the new church building. Please pray for us that we make the right decision and financially. We are currently raising $15,000 towards the down payment. If you can support financially in any way, please do so at the Donate to this Ministry page and indicate "Building Fund" when making a donation. Thanks for your prayers and support. We praise God for what He has done for us so far! Praise the Lord!
June 2011 - There is wonderful news concerning the church building project as it has come all the way to having a church and school building now available for purchase. We are praying for God's direction concerning this. Please call Pastor Chad at 260-820-1011 for more details. There is so much to say! We praise the Lord for His wonderful working ways!!
April 13, 2011 - "The Way of the Master" course has been completed. The congregation has learned quite a bit and have been blessed with the new knowledge of the evangelistic approach of reaching out to the lost souls of the world. Jesus said to his disciples, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 16:15b,c. We pray for God's guidance as we prepare to do this, this coming spring and summer using our new Prayer Stand. (www.prayerstand.com)
April 10, 2011 - Some wonderful news!! God is working in the church to help it grow! We have the plans for a new building, an annex. We are in the process of getting the required paperwork, paying the required fees, acquiring a state architect to design the plans and getting approval from the state. We praise the Lord for putting our prayers on the hearts of several people who came to Pastor Chad and told him they felt they needed to help make this happen through greatly discounted supplies, donated labor, and more prayer as we find more details to God's plan.
